What is the meaning of life?

Contemplating the universe and the insignificance of our place within it, I’m unable to find any meaning of life---by that I mean the meaning of life itself as a natural phenomenon.
As for human life with human society; I’m with Epicurus, feeling life’s only purpose is happiness; happiness for ourselves through bringing it to others. If you want a rule for this, I’ll quote Rabbi Hillel and Jesus, “Do not unto others as you would not have them do unto you.”
